Across three days, Brainfools, in co-production with Hoxton Hall, brings Balance to Ventnor Fringe Festival this July.
The show places two circus artists, two steel beer kegs, and a path of empty glass bottles at the centre of its world.
Performers Jared and Toffy use these unlikely props to build what the company describes as a physical language of trust.

Cold metal, sharp glass, and the negotiation of staying upright
There are no traditional circus rigs here.
Instead, the cold weight of metal and the sharp fragility of glass set the terms, and the two performers must work within them.
They lift, they catch, they slip, and they hold on.
An honest look at what it takes to rely on someone else
Balance frames itself as a circus duet about finding your centre when the ground feels like it’s tipping.

The show offers an honest, high-stakes portrait of the visceral effort involved in relying on another person to keep from falling.
