Known locally as 'The road to nowhere', work has finally started to complete this East Cowes road that has required multiple negotiations to get underway.
A long stretch of Fairlee Road, Newport will be closed for overnight roadworks later this week. The work is a temporary measure to help maintain the road until it can be resurfaced as part of the ongoing programme.
