Ventnor Fringe Festival 2025 sees record-breaking ticket sales after ten packed days of performances

Last updated:

The curtain has come down on this year’s Ventnor Fringe Festival, which finished on Sunday following a ten-day run of performances and events.

For the 16th year, Ventnor once again welcomed an eclectic mix of more than 130 shows, covering everything from comedy and live music to theatre and dance.

Biggest ticket sales to date
Organiser, Mhairi Macaulay and Jack Whitewood of Ventnor Exchange, confirmed that the 2025 edition broke all previous records, with nearly 13,000 tickets sold across the festival — the highest total in its history.

The figures reflect the growing popularity of the event, which continues to attract both Island audiences and visitors from further afield.

Public invited to share their views
The team behind Ventnor Fringe has thanked all those involved, from volunteers and performers to attendees, for helping to create what they described as a “very special” festival.

They are now inviting feedback via an online form encouraging responses whether positive or critical.

How to support the festival’s future
Those keen to see Ventnor Fringe return are also being asked to consider making a donation to support the festival’s work.

Contributions can be made via the Box Office website.
