Bembridge Fort Walk (and St Helens!)

There’s a slight mystery that surrounds the Bembridge fort walk near St Helens each year – that being the exact date of it changes from year to year.

Bembridge St Helens Fort Walk 2014 by Christian BeasleyIt is only possible when the tides are at their lowest, as – and this is the attraction of the event – those who take part walk through the sea to reach the Fort, normally out to sea.

The approach is either from Bembridge or St Helens.
