New book celebrates the natural environment, wildlife, history and heritage of Yarmouth and Shalfleet

On July 2nd Wight Nature Fund will be launching a book to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

‘Yarmouth and Shalfleet Coastal Town and Country Parish’ is a celebration of an exceptional reign.

People of the communities of the parishes of Yarmouth and Shalfleet have generously contributed articles and photos which celebrate the natural environment and the wildlife, the history and heritage of our exceptional part of the Island.

A copy for all pupils
A copy of the book will be presented to each child at Yarmouth and Shalfleet Primary Schools.
