Congratulations to Cadets L/Cpl Wiltshire and Carter for representing the Island at the ACF National Swimming Championships recently. They picked up two golds and two bronzes making that 22 medals each in three years.
101 individuals and 11 teams took part at the event last weekend, which involves a 600m swim in the pool, 35km bike ride along Military rode to Brighstone and a 7.5km run along the River Yar.
Swimmers travelled from the mainland to take part in the 18th Isle of Wight Masters International Swim Meet over the weekend. Well done to all who took part, especially the winners.
The courage and determination of five Isle of Wight children who have learned to swim against the odds or performed exceptionally was celebrated at the Southern Water Learn to Swim Achiever Awards.

We've seen swims across the Solent before, but never through the Needles. This charity swim on the 23rd August will see some incredible personal achievements. Best of luck to them all.
