Platform One’s BA (Hons) Sustainable Fashion students were given an invaluable glimpse into their future careers last Friday, as the organisation hosted a powerful afternoon of industry insight, panel discussion, and hands-on networking with leading figures from across the fashion landscape.
A dynamic panel a dynamic panel
Curated by third-year students as part of their degree programme, the event welcomed Jules Lennon from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and Rosie Drake-Amery, founder of Roake Studio, for a dynamic panel exploring the realities of building a responsible fashion career in 2025 and beyond.
Students gained first-hand knowledge on topics ranging from circularity and sustainable design, to brand building, entrepreneurship, and how to connect with the wider fashion ecosystem.

For many, it was a chance to understand how the skills developed throughout their degree can translate into genuine, future-facing opportunities.
