The Latter Days of King Charles I: From Carisbrooke to Chopping Block

This coming Friday (4th November at 2pm), local historian Kevin Shaw will be giving an illustrated talk titled ‘The Latter Days of King Charles I: From Carisbrooke to Chopping Block’ at Carisbrooke Castle Museum.

As well as learning more about this fascinating subject there’ll also be an opportunity to view the current display of the Ashburnham Collection –  a private collection of rare and significant items associated with King Charles I.
