The Met Office have issued a 'Be Aware' weather warning for heavy rain and some risk of flooding on the Isle of Wight from Sunday night and all day Monday.

The Met Office say heavy rain this afternoon and evening and to expect spray and flooding on roads, and some interruption to power supplies and other services possible.
March has been much wetter than average and more than half a month’s rain has fallen in the last four days and water levels in the Eastern Yar are high and continue to rise.

The Met Office say that snow showers are likely throughout Sunday, and where these converge some snow may well accumulate and could then prove disruptive.
There are Yellow and Amber warnings for snow, wind and ice on the Isle of Wight in the coming days. Do make sure your elderly or vulnerable neighbours are well-prepared so they can avoid the bad weather conditions.
