Emma Wilkinson as Frankenstein

An electrifying new adaptation of Frankenstein comes to a brand new venue in Ryde

The electrifying moment when the beat drops and the monsters come to life!

Don’t miss this thrilling adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Gothic horror masterpiece, fusing ensemble storytelling, live music, rap with stunning theatricality.

The Horse Box Theatre Company’s bold new gig-theatre production of Frankenstein promises a fresh, exciting take on what is widely considered to be a landmark work of romantic, gothic and science fiction literature.

Plumb: A collision of live music with a big theatrical experience
Joe Plumb, the show’s creator, said,

“This is a piece of ‘gig theatre’, a collision of live music with a big theatrical experience.

“It’s loud, dark, mad, messy, bold and innovative. Bring your mates, grab a pint and get a load of this!”

Julie Jones’ score sets the pulsing beat of this production with a fusion of hip hop, rap and lyrical song. The show focuses on the moments before Frankenstein pulls the switch and brings the creature to life.
