Belgrave Road landslip

In January 2020, movement under Belgrave Road, Ventnor resulted in the partial collapse of the retaining wall.

The road was closed to traffic and pedestrians as Island Roads and Isle of Wight council investigated how to secure.

Police issue appeal after car leaves road in Ventnor

The car left Belgrave Road and ended up in the trees below, where the steps lead down to Esplanade Road. Police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
