Eight-year-old Martha from Niton is featured with three photos in the first issue of new female skateboarding zine, Plank. She continues to be an inspiration to many.
Eight-year-old Martha Eggleton joined the Wight Trash skateboarding team in 2018.
The youngest female skateboarding to be on the team, Martha is a dedicated and gutsy skater, who practices every day after school at her local skatepark and travels to the mainland on weekends to take part in competitions.
Martha is also part of the Isle of Wight’s Talented Athlete Scheme.

Legendary Isle of Wight skateboarder, John Cattle, founded Wight Trash back in 2004. 15 years on and the brand is known around the world, he's running skate session five days a week and will be celebrating five years of having a shop in Ryde this summer.
